oh christmas tree

while on a walk after a little date at our favorite burrito joint in the hood, rob and i fell in love with the cutest, smallest christmas tree we have ever had. there was no choice but to adopt it.

husband said later that he knew it was 'our tree' when we both smiled and laughed a bit when we first stood it up. we will adorn her with beautiful lights and decor once she settles into her new home. oh the smell!

movember

the end of november has brought more than just good food, family, and friends. 'movember' has been accomplished and has FINALLY come to an end! oh YES!

giving thanks

thanskgiving was wonderful with the palermos in town, a turkey trot run, and an eleven person dinner on a 65 degree day in our brooklyn apartment. wonderful. we are so, so thankful.

halloween

we ended october with a huge halloween party between two apartments. ours on the first floor and bennett's on the third. the theme was heaven and hell. hell was fun but i had such a great time in heaven i didn't even find time to snap any pics. the party was bitter sweet as we drove our great friends/family anne and dustin to the airport the next afternoon for their move to budapest! tears.

the husband and i took a wonderful october trip to puerto rico where we drove all over the island. so much ecoadventure, relaxation, and food! if i had a better working computer i would present the video i put together here...someday.
